I understand small business owners because I am one, and I understand AI because I've spent years building it for real companies. The rare part is doing both without making you feel stupid or sold to.
The short version
I build AI systems that run inside real businesses: phone agents that answer and book, follow-up systems that never forget a lead, the unglamorous automation that quietly saves an owner ten hours a week. I’ve done it for my own companies and for other people’s.
Along the way I noticed something. The technology was never the hard part. The hard part was that the owner of a roofing company, a dental practice or a two-partner law firm had no one to ask “what does any of this mean for me?” The people who understood AI didn’t understand their business. The people who understood their business had been burned by too many software salesmen.
So that’s the job I do now. I walk into your business, learn how it actually works, and translate.
Here’s what I actually think you’re buying. Not AI. The hours you’re currently burning on stupid, repeatable tasks, handed back so you can spend them selling, running the business, and winning the next client, plus enough left over to get home for dinner. That’s the whole point of doing this carefully instead of fast.
What I believe
Every small business needs AI. Almost none of them need a custom AI project. Ninety percent of the value is in picking the right three off-the-shelf things and wiring them into how you already work. The other ten percent is knowing what to leave alone.
The owner is the expert. You know your customers, your margins, your busy season and which employee is really holding the place together. I’m not there to replace that judgment. I’m there to point it at the right tools.
Plain English or it didn’t happen. If I can’t explain what a thing does in one sentence a fourteen-year-old would understand, I don’t recommend it.
No kickbacks. I don’t resell software and I don’t take referral fees. When the plan says “buy the $30 tool,” it’s because that’s the right answer.
